Introducing the DR1600 Auto Golf Ball Dispenser from Range Automation Systems.
After much buzz in the golf community, Range Automation Systems (RAS), has released their first Roll Out Dispenser. The DR1600 is a revolutionary development in golf ball dispenser technology. Thanks to the all weather construction, it is able to be installed indoors or outdoors. As a result of years of research, and developed with the customer in mind, it is affordable and easy to use. Just wave a club in front of the optical sensor and the DR1600 will dispense one golf ball. Easy to install, simply plug it into any A/C power source, fill it with golf balls and it is ready to go. GreatShots in Sioux Falls, SD recently installed 56 of our new DR1600 Golf Ball Dispensers.
The Future is here.
Today ranges are spending thousands of dollars to bring in the latest in ball tracking technology, only to hand their customers a bucket of balls. The bucket hasn’t changed much in the last 80 years. Driving ranges are evolving and the old “bucket of balls” is going extinct. The DR1600 is not only an affordable way to bring the benefits of automation to your range, but your customers will love it.
The DR1600 is made of powder-coated stainless steel. This means it is not only rust-free, but it also has no sharp edges. Other dispensers are made of thin diamond plate which is unattractive and has razor sharp edges. Others have a plastic shell which can crack and fade. We have found our choice of materials will stand the test of time and look beautiful doing it. The DR1600 Auto Dispenser is available in a variety of colors to blend seamlessly into your range.
The optical sensor works in any weather. It is adjusted at the factory to avoid false activations which frustrates the customer and costs the range. The drum/mixer motor is powerful and quiet. In fact, we use the same reliable motor in both our EagleStar and NorthStar systems. It is a workhorse that will keep turning for years.
On busy days, the LED located on the top of the unit will flash if the “Low Ball” sensor is activated. The LED automatically resets when filled.
